๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธWave Surfer Mode

What is the Wave surfer mode in PumpBot? What does it do? What is the PrePump Protection?

Using the Wave Surfer Mode to your Advantage

Sometimes you get into a situation the bot tells you that you can go "Wave Surfing" ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ. This can happen for multiple reasons:

  1. You get the PPP - Pre Pump Protection. PPP always happens when the price has already risen higher then the maximum you were willing to pay.

  2. In New Coin Listings: After "Instant Dump!" when you use "X" for the issue price and there is no rise in the price between the two price checks.

  3. You sold. When you sold you have the ability to buy.

What to do when the Wave surfers kicks in?

The bot will ask the same questions almost twice! But there is a small difference.

  1. On the first question you can decide to use the "Wave Surfer". You use the wave surfer when you hit "y". The bot will try to buy with the settings from your config. With the manualQuote you used and the buyLimit you had.

  2. If you hit "n" on the first question the bot will ask again. Only this time the manualQuote will be reduced to 30 USDT. The buyLimit you defined will be the same, but you won't use the manualQuote from your config.

When you should use the Wave Surfer?

Well, this is up to you when you want this extremly usefull feature. You could use it for new coin listings. You use "X" as issue price, a low buyLimit of about 1.2 and an time between the price checks of about 2 seconds or less.

What will happen? The price won't rise because the first two seconds there is a sell off for the new coin. You decide to instantly hit "y" when you get the Wave Surfer Mode. You could be able to buy the dip.

On KuCoin we sometimes have the issue of a "price too high". KuCoin won't accept limit orders which have a too high price. Hence with the Wave Surfing Mode and the above settings you could prohibit this KuCoin mechanism and buy with the Wave Surfer ๐Ÿ˜‰

Where will the new buy order be placed?

The buy order will be placed at:

limit price = buy Limit * last price from the exchange
