# create MEXC Global API Keys

## API Keys for the MEXC Global Exchange

1. Login to MEXC
2. Go to your Account and click on "API"
3. For the Spot Trading (Pump Dump Bot, New Coin Listings, Pump Detector) select: "Read account information", "Read order information" and "Trade"
4. NEVER select any "Withdraw" or "Transfer" options. NEVER! 
5. Use something descriptive in the "note" field 
6. Clicke "create"
7. Save the API Keys in your keys.json file
