# create LaToken API Keys

Here is how to create API keys for the LaToken cryptocurrency exchange. Go to: <https://latoken.com/account/apikeys> and select "Create API Key".

Select "Trade on Spot", do NOT select "Read Only". And never give permissions to transfer.&#x20;
